Cylindrical Buoyancy Bags
Cylindrical buoyancy bags are lifting devices designed for recovering objects from underwater, refloating vessels, and transporting heavy loads on water. The bags are designed in accordance with the same engineering principles as those specified in IMCA D-016.
Closed Pillow-Type Buoyancy Bags (EFB)
Closed pillow-type buoyancy bags (EFBs) are fully enclosed buoyancy bags designed for recovering objects from underwater and for lifting or supporting vessels, vehicles, pipelines, and structures, both on the water surface and underwater. Thanks to their unique design, these bags are significantly lighter than standard cylindrical buoyancy bags, making them an excellent choice for recovering small and medium-sized objects from underwater. The bags are designed in accordance with the same engineering principles as those specified in IMCA D-016.
Specifications
- IMCA D-016: The buoyancy bags are designed and manufactured in accordance with the same guidelines set out in IMCA D-016 for open-type buoyancy bags. The safety factor is ≥ 5:1 in relation to the WLL (Working Load Limit) and ≥ 7:1 for webbing slings. Each bag has a unique serial number and is supplied with a test certificate and operating manual.
- CE: The webbing slings used with the buoyancy bags are CE marked as lifting accessories in accordance with EN 1492-1.
- Factory testing: Each buoyancy bag is individually tested before shipment. Testing includes a pressure test, a relief valve function test, and a 24-hour leak test.
- Quality system: Manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001.
- The use of polyester fabric coated with EVA/PVC copolymer provides excellent flexibility while making the material exceptionally easy to repair. Repairs can be carried out using adhesive or a hot-air dryer.
- The pillow-type buoyancy bags are manufactured from highly durable, coated polyester fabric with a tensile strength of at least 8,000 N/5 cm.
- Thanks to the use of high-strength Type IV polyester fabric, the material used for the closed buoyancy bags provides a puncture resistance of at least 2,150 N. By comparison, many competing products achieve a puncture resistance of only 1,750 N.
- Closed buoyancy bags have no sharp edges or corners. Their surface is smooth and rounded, making the bags more durable and less susceptible to damage.
- Closed buoyancy bags are lightweight and can be up to 50% lighter than competing products, while providing at least 10% greater lifting capacity.
- Closed buoyancy bags require minimal maintenance and are very easy to clean.
